I miss my house.
I sold this cottage in 2010 in Robert Lewis Stevenson Avenue in Westbourne and had 36 Viewings. No one wanted to buy my little house. 🙁
Despite having a private 50ft rear garden, good condition, two double bedrooms, two reception rooms, beautiful brick fireplace (which I did, very proud, in the picture) .. BUT no parking.
In the end, I had to lower the price, due to pressure from my wife. At the time, our daughter was two years old and with regular shopping and prams, English weather and no parking this was all a little tricky. Plus we were in a chain and had to sell to buy the house we wanted.
Its funny, mention you have a freehold house in Westbourne for under £250k, in this case on the market at £225k. In fact, I sold it for £212k in the end.
36 Viewings – no one would believe it.
Its always the way, in a rush to sell, no one is interested. Not bothered? and a bidding war happens.
Can anyone spot my piano? My wife wouldn’t let me take it with me, we needed room for toys .. I’m not bitter at all.
