Boscombe has a lot to offer and most people who live here, enjoy living here. The Beach and Sandy Beach close by, Boscombe high street, independent traders and food markets are very vibrant and its very central. On one side Bournemouth and on the other Southbourne.'Boscombe Spa' has seen the most investment of late. Most of the properties in this area are apartments and enjoy a Sea View or part Sea view or two minutes to the sandy beaches and Sea. Over the last couple of decades, some of the older hotels / B&B's have been demolished, replaced with some modern, luxury, contemporary apartments and with it some impressive house price growth. The area covers Michelgrove Road to Owls Road to Boscombe Spa Road towards the sea. 'Boscombe Manor' is one of the most sought after areas in Bournemouth and are typically large detached houses. The area stretches from Portman Crescent, along Wentworth Avenue, up to Glen Road. The house prices for the detached houses range from £450,000 - £650,000 and increase with Sea Views. The flats and apartments are half one of these large houses and are typically £200,000 - £350,000. The main attraction with living here is the coastal walks, a level walk to Southbourne high street and easy access to the beach and Sea. You might also hear 'Portman Estate', in my opinion its exactly the same area, although, I'm sure i'll get someone phoning me to correct me. 'Boscombe East' is not actually in Boscombe. Boscombe East is very sought after after with families and closer to Littledown.

Boscombe … A vibrant suburb of Bournemouth and popular seaside resort
In the vibrant high street is the Boscombe Sovereign Centre with forty two shops and cafes and has a vintage market on the first Saturday of every month. Boscombe Chine, voted best large park in the south, my nephew plays basketball and football here. This leads to Sandy beaches and Boscombe Pier, built 1889. To the east of Boscombe is Pokesdown railway station and on the beach, Bournemouth Land train taking you into Bournemouth.
This is a popular and culturally rich area, with has transformed over time from a small village to a bustling resort with a unique charm of its own. This could be seen as reflected by the diversity of architectural styles across the area, including art-deco features. Now Boscombe is also recognised for its ‘surf reef’ development and opportunities, as is at an ideal proximity to the coastline, therefore complete with stunning views.
Boscombe Chine is popular with families and a relaxing area to stroll down to Boscombe pier.
